Rubble Stone Wire Tie (398)

Part Number: 398

Wire tie anchor used to secure rubble stone veneers to back-up walls. Used with Heckmann’s Rubble Stone Veneer Anchor system (#398-C L-Type Rubble clips and #398-J J-Hook Rod). Ideal for when horizontal mortar joints do not align, and a large amount of vertical adjustment is required.

The 398 wire tie is 3/16" diameter. welded rod prevents compression loads from damaging sheathing. Specify tie length.

  • For attaching Rubble Stone to backups of wood, steel studs, CMU and concrete. Available in Hotdip or Stainless Steel.
  • #398-C L-Type Rubble Clips: 12 gage x 2-3/4” wide x length required. Attach to backup. Slotted bend extends beyond sheathing into airspace for placement of J-Rod.
  • #398-J J-Hook Rod: 52” long available in 5/16” or 3/8” diameters. Rod goes through rubble clips for wire ties.
  • #398 Rubble Stone Wire Tie: 3/16” diameter - specify length of tie.
